2023 French Heritage Festival Program of Events
Saturday, June 10

 9:30 am at the GUIBOURD HOUSE GARDEN
     MARIE ANTOINETTE & FRENCH STORYTELLING
     Have tea and cake with the Queen, prior to Opening Ceremonies
10 am - 6 pm  LION'S CLUB PARK     
     Festival Foods - Beignets, Jambalaya, Cajun Pork Burgers, hot dogs     
     FREE Live Music Concerts with Dennis Stroughmatt     
     VINGT-ET-UN Stand (a.k.a. Black Jack Table)  11 am - 5 pm     
     BEER & WINE Pavilion  11 am - 6 pm
10 am - 4 pm  FELIX VALLE HISTORIC SITE     
     Tours, Spinning, Paper Marbling, Milice demonstrations, Gift Shop     
     French Evening Program starts at 6:30 pm  (see below)
10:30 am  FESTIVAL OPENING CEREMONIES
     Back steps of the Catholic Church; immediately followed by Grand Promenade
11 am - 1:30 pm  GARDEN STROLL (Varied locations)
     Take in the beauty of five private gardens in the festival area.
     Details at the Welcome Center or Lions Club Park
11 am - 3 pm MAIN STREET PARK
     Children's activities, games, demonstrations 
     Fun with French Phrases
     Scooter Burgers 11 am until sold out.
11 am - 3 pm  STE GENEVIEVE ART CENTER & MUSEUM
     Exhibiting portraits of John James Audubon, Ferdinand & Constance Rozier
     History presentation at 2 pm
11 am- 4 pm  CENTRE FOR FRENCH COLONIAL LIFE
     Tours, re-enactors, Milice camp, skill demonstrations
     Hands-On History at the LINDEN HOUSE.
11 am - 4 pm  J B VALLE/NATIONAL PARK SERVICE SITE
     FREE Art Gallery, Historic Rose Garden open
11 am - 4 pm STE. GENEVIEVE MUSEUM LEARNING CENTER
     Children's activities in the Courtyard
11:30 am - 1:30 pm at the LIONS' CLUB PARK
     The CREOLE STOMP BAND with Dennis Stroughmatt
12 pm - 5 pm  JACQUES GUIBOURD HISTORIC SITE
     Tours of the Guibourd-Valle House, Garden open for strolling.
2 pm  at the STE. GENEVIEVE ART CENTER & MUSEUM
     "Portraits of Audubon & Rozier" talk by James Baker
3:30 pm - 6:30 pm at the LION'S CLUB PARK
     "L'ESPRIT CREOLE featuring Dennis Stroughmatt
EVENING ACTIVITES
6:30 pm  at the FELIX VALLE HISTORIC SITE
     LA VEILLEE - French Social Dancing and Folktales
7:30 pm (dusk) at the MAIN STREET PARK
     Ste. Genevieve Library presents the classic film, "GIGI".
     Bring a lawn chair or quilt, we'll have the popcorn.

7 am - 8:30 am AUDUBON BIRD WALK ON LEVEE
Meet at the Refuge (Levee) 

FRENCH COLONIAL CORRIDOR DRIVING TOUR  12 pm - 5 pm

A self-guided tour.  Pick up maps at the Welcome Center
