Fall History Conference

The 2021 Foundation for Restoration of Ste. Genevieve History Conference will be held on Saturday, September 18, 2021 in the Sports Complex in the Ste. Genevieve Community Center located at 21390 Highway 32. from 8am til 4pm.
The Conference is held each September in historic Ste. Genevieve and features speaker presentations highlighting people and events which influenced the early founding of Ste. Genevieve and the Upper Louisiana Territory.
Here are the speakers for this year's Conference
Sharon Person - “Un ‘mariage inconstant’: Guillaume Pottier drafts a will, and the Louisiana Superior Council rejects it”
Dr. Adam Criblez – “History of Early Cape Girardeau”
Dr. Will Thompson – “Fictional Portraits of the French Creoles of the Illinois Country”
Chris Collins – Update on activities at the Ste. Genevieve NPS Historical Park
Dr. David MacDonald – “Jean-Baptiste Ducoigne, an Under-Appreciated Leader of the Kaskaskia Tribe”
Bob Mueller – “Town Lots, Houses, and Outbuildings in Colonial Ste. Genevieve”
Cost $50 per person ($45 for Foundation members). Includes Friday night reception, Saturday continental breakfast, lunch, and conference presentations.
Friday night Reception – 5 – 7 p.m. at the Jacques Guibourd House 1 N. 4th Street
